Inscribed by both on the inside front cover to Young's optometrist, Dr. Josh Carter: "with appreciation for your vision, / Love, / La Monte Young / Marian Zazeela / 89 VIII 29 / San Francisco." Sold together with a few xeroxes related to Young's contact lens prescriptions, a 1989 Dia Art Foundation brochure and a 1989 MELA Foundation flyer, both advertising Young/Zazeela appearances.
