4to. 231 pp. including 76 songs, music and lyrics and Foreword by Cahn. Presentation edition, illustrated covers bound into black leatherette with gilt calligraphic title and presentation in upper cover and pasted in TLS from the composer on the ffe. A nice presentation volume from the highly regarded American lyricist, songwriter and musician best known for his romantic lyrics to films and Broadway songs, as well as "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!", cowritten with Jule Styne in 1945.  This copy prepared evidently as an anniversary gift for the visionary NYC Times Square real estate developer, Alex Parker and his wife, Charlotte.  The TLS from Cahn, February 11, 1982, reading in full: "Here for you is a Gift of Words & Music! It is signed and sent along with (page 71) ["High Hopes"] for all the sentiments of (page 128) ["Love and Marriage"] and I know you will find 'cahn-tained' herein one or two other items to kindle memories by!"

Alex Parker owned the building at One Times Square that housed (rent free!) the Songwriters Hall of Fame museum space in the 1980s and developed close relationships with many popular composers and lyricists.
