Original concert program from an April 29, 1962 NAACP benefit performance by the "Queen of Gospel," boldly signed on the cover by Jackson and her pianist, Mildred Falls. They appeared at the Kiel Opera House in St. Louis in a concert with a massed chorus, to benefit the St. Louis chapter of the NAACP. A quite scarce signed item from two integral personalities to the Civil Rights Movement, whose music inspired and strengthened the resolve of the crowds at the King rallies. 4 pp. 14 x 21.5 cm. Small tear from lower right corner, creased, a few pencil notations on verso, else fine.
