"PLEASE" Chair, 2016. Stained birch and UV digital printing with felt seat pad. Numbered 21 in an edition of 100. Published by Onestar Press, Paris. 29-7/8 x 17-7/8 x 24 inches (75.9 x 45.4 x 61 cm). Fine.

American conceptual artist John Baldessari says: PLEASE... sit on this chair! Commissioned by Onestar press and designed by Sébastien de Ganay, the intent of the project was to produce a lounge chair that could be produced and assembled anywhere. The production consists of cutting four pieces out of simple plywood on a local CNC machine - in order to make its carbon trace as low as possible - able to be assembled in a matter of minutes with no screws or glue. The "4 Piece Chair" was born in 2015 with a number of artist collaborations with Onestar Press including Lawrence Weiner (2015), Rirkrit Tiravani (2016), and John Baldessari, who made the customizations to this particular model in 2016.
