Original LP of the important American composer's Capricorn Concerto, signed and inscribed by Barber on the sleeve with Christmas and New Year's wishes. He has penned: "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to Jeannie. Samuel Barber." The recording, with prominent wind players Julius Baker, Mitch Miller and Harry Freistadt and the Saidenberg Little Symphony, was released on the Concert Hall label in 1951. Staining and tape remnants around the edges, ownership signature and larger light stain on the verso. Record in apparently good condition, but untested.
