[Roussel, Honegger] Hoérée, Arthur. (1897 - 1986) . Interesting Signed Musical Quotations. A highly unusual set of musical quotations, penned by the Belgian-French composer and musicologist, close associate and collaborator with Roussel and Honegger (with whom he collaborated nine times between 1933 and 1952) and a highly successful film composer in his own right. On a large oblong page (36 x 40 cm), Hoérée pens 2 "Fanfares" for Roussel and Honegger, dated 1952 and addressed to the actor Marcel Cuvelier (b. 1924), as an hommage to the Societe Philarmonique de Bruxelles. Paris, Mai 1952."

In very fine condition, a highly unusual presentation AMQS with an interesting contextualizing letter.
