Two signed LP recordings from the superb fiddler, specialist in the 19th century bravura repertory. A student of Persinger, Piastro and Kulenkampff, Ricci has been widely acclaimed for his technical prowess and was the first to record the 24 Paganini Caprices in their original version. London LL 262 and LLP 252, volumes 1 and 2 (complete) of his celebrated landmark caprice recordings, each signed boldly on the front cover in black ink. Toning, especially to Vol I, small taped note to upper corner of one, records in apparently fine condition though untested, overall fine.
