Small folio. 167 pp. Each of the 18 published songs is preceded by a full-page color plate by Alajalov, followed by Gershwin’s original piano score, with lyrics by Ira Gershwin, as well as separate sheet music for "Mischa, Yascha, Toscha, Sascha" in the pocket at the rear paste down. Publisher's full black morocco, rebacked, blocks of color variance and toning to boards, additional gift inscription on the limitation page, dated 1942. Top edge gilt, clean and, overall, a good copy.
