[Pianist] Bauer, Harold. (1873–1951). Signed Photograph.

Signed trimmed bust portrait halftone photograph of the wonderful English musician, who began as a successful violinist and later had a major career as a pianist. A student of Paderewski, he premiered Debussy's "Children's Corner" and after settling in the US, founded the Beethoven Association and taught for many years at the Manhattan School of Music. This signature obtained ca. 1920 and mounted to an album page measuring 12 x 15.5 cm.
