An interesting collection of five original concert programs of the Regia Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome, dating from February-April 1909 and featuring guest conductors Richard Strauss, Willem Mengelberg, Georg Schneevoigt, and Oskar Nedbal. Strauss appeared on April 4, 1909, to conduct a program entirely of his own compositions, including Symphonia Domestica and Heldenleben.

Each program 4 pp. Some edge wear, folding creases, and overall toning; occasional markings to the inside of the programs; otherwise overall in good to very good condition. 6 x 9.25 inches (15.5 x 23.4 cm).
