[New York Philharmonic]. Unusual 1927 Program Ballot.

A unique bit of concert ephemera from the NY Philharmonic's summer concerts at the Lewisohn Stadium, where Willem van Hoogstraten led the orchestra from 1922 to 1939.  According to the ballot's directions, audience members were asked to vote on their favorite Symphony, Overture and "Symphonic Poem, Suite or Misc. Number" after which those works receiving the most votes would be performed on the final concert of the season!  Horizontal fold line, else fine.  5.5 x 8.5  inches (14 x 21.6 cm.).
