Signed book from the influential modern dancer and choreographer, founder with his wife Ruth St. Denis of the Denishawn dance company and of the Jacob's Pillow dance festival. He has signed and inscribed on the title page to Paul McMahon. The book contains piano scores, choreography diagrams, and instructions for 16 short pedagogical dances which Shawn used in teaching. 47 pp. Softcover; light wear to the wrappers, but overall in fine condition with a crisp inscription. 8.75 x 11.75 inches (22.5 x 30 cm).
