Leonard Bernstein's National Arts Club Medal of Honor and conducting baton, both originally acquired at the famous Sotheby's sale of his estate in 1997. Nicely presented in a shadowbox frame with a printed Al Hirschfeld portrait, signed in ink by Bernstein from a limited edition for the Kansas City Philharmonic's Bernstein Festival in 1979. The baton pictured on page 53 of Property from the Estate of Leonard Bernstein (Sotheby's New York, December 10 and 11, 1997).
