[Russian Theatre] Moskvin, Ivan. (1874–1946). Signed Photograph. Uncommon signed A. Gubtschewsky postcard photograph of the great Russian actor ca. 1920. Moskvin has signed his name to the lower margin next to a printed label reading "J.M. Moskvine / Théâtre Artistique de Moscou." In very fine condition. 3.5 x 5.5 inches (8.9 x 14 cm.).
A People's Artist of the USSR, Moskvin would go on to become director of the Moscow Art Theatre in 1943.
