Remo Bolognini, generally regarded as one of South America’s greatest violinists, studied with Ysaye and was concert master in Buenos Aires under Kleiber and Ansermet. Beginning in 1937, he was concertmaster of the NBC Symphony Orchestra under Toscanini.
