On a postcard showing a work by Juan L. Palliere at the Museo Historico Nacional in Buenos Aires. Addressed on the verso to the collector, Ramona Imaz Otaño, with the original stamp and postmark. One slight smudge at the upper edge; overall in very fine condition. 5.5 x 3.5 inches (13.8 x 8.7 cm).

Stravinsky spent seven weeks in South America in mid-1936, conducting in Buenos Aires, Montevideo and Rio de Janeiro. In Buenos Aires, he stayed with the important Argentinian intellectual Victoria Ocampo, and performed in a festival of performances at the Teatro Colón.
