Gimpel has penned the first two measures of the theme from the third movement of Tchaikovsky's violin concerto, op. 35 on a program in which he played the same work, and apparently dissatisfied with the blue ballpoint used, has noted above his signature in German, "A real pen next time please!" Mounted together with a reproduction printed portrait photograph. Light wrinkling; overall in fine condition.
