The first letter (November 14, 1985; 2 pp.), to cellist Douglas Moore at Williams College, recommends composer Andrew Frank, who Crumb describes as "one of the finest composers of his generation. His music shows both enormous technical skill and a potent expressiveness." The second letter (June 27, 1985; 1 p.), also to Moore, recommends Robert Suderberg as "a fine young composer and an excellent teacher." In very fine condition overall. 5.5 x 8.5 inches (14 x 21.5 cm).
