Signed card from the American composer, pianist and educator, inscribed "To Roger Derby/ with best regards/ Rubin Goldmark/ New York, February 8th 1932," together with a half-tone photograph from an unknown publication.  Fine.  Card measures 3.25 x 2.25 inches (8.2 x 5.7 cm.).

Rubin Goldmark was a pupil of Dvorák in New York, and went on to head the composition department at Juilliard for 12 years, where Copland and Gershwin numbered among his students.
