Price: "avec Orchestre: 4 Rthlr. 12 Gr."; "avec Quintuor: 3 Rthlr.8Gr"; "sans Accomp. 2 Rthlr".   Heavy foxing throughout, small nick to right edge of title, spine reinforced with tape, internal block attached but largely separating from outer leaves.  First German edition, third issue, identical but for the modified title page. Rare. Grabowski-Rink [Annotated Catalogue of Chopin's First Editions] 11-1a*-Kl. 

The concerto op. 11 in E minor is considered to be Chopin's first, but it, in fact, post-dates the Concerto op. 21 in F minor.  Composed in 1830, when he was twenty years old. It was first performed on 11 October of that year, at the Teatr Narodowy (the National Theatre) in Warsaw, Poland, with the composer as soloist, during one of his "farewell" concerts before leaving Poland.
