Continuous excerpt (14 measures) from full score draft of an unidentified work for 2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets, 2 bassoons, 3(?) horns, 2 trumpets, 1 trombone, harp, timpani, 4-part mixed choir and strings. The key is D major, the implied time signature 4/4. The Latin text underlay, "Gaudete et exultate quoniam" ("Rejoice and be glad, for...") is from Matthew 5:12 (the Sermon on the Mount). In pencil; some marks to foot in ink.
