Three measures in C Major, boldly signed "Dennis Brain" and dated 25 July, 1954. On a yellow paper album sheet measuring 6.25 x 5.25 inches (15.5 x 13.5 cm). Very fine.
On 1 September 1957, Brain was killed driving his Triumph TR2 sports car home to London after a performance at the Edinburgh Festival. He was just 36 years old. His autograph is of the utmost rarity in any form and he present quotation is the only one we have ever offered.
