Attractive cabinet photograph published by Louis Held, ca. late 1880s-1910, showing a right-facing bust profile relief of Liszt, signed and inscribed in pencil on the verso by his longtime Weimar housekeeper Pauline Apel (who actually describes herself as "Liszt's Servant of 30 Years"). Apel served as the on-site manager of the Liszt Weimar House Museum for several decades after Liszt's death.The cardstock of the mount is slightly warped (does not lie fully flat) but it still displays very nicely and otherwis is in fine condition. 6.5 x 4 inches (17 x 10.5 cm).
