Weber, Bruce. (b. 1946). Original Photograph from "Backyard Movie".
Original photograph of a man in mid-air from the American photographer's 1991 short film Backyard Movie. Stamped on the verso with Weber's copyright stamp, with a label from Zeitgeist Films. Very fine. 8 x 10 inches (20.3 x 25.3 cm).

The American fashion photographer and occasional filmmaker is most widely known for his ad campaigns for Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Pirelli, Abercrombie & Fitch, Revlon, and Gianni Versace, as well as his work for Vogue, GQ, Vanity Fair, Elle, Life, Interview, and Rolling Stone magazines. His 1991 short Backyard Movie "incorporates the private home movies of the Weber Family into the fiber of the film as it connects the director’s past and present inspirations" (bruceweber.com).

From the collection of Paul McMahon, a critic, photographer and artist who worked for more than 13 years touring with Marlene Dietrich as the icon’s stage manager, announcer, dresser, secretary and escort, and later spent 25 years as an arts and entertainment reviewer and photographer with Gay Community News, Esplanade, Tommy’s Connection, The Mirror, Bay Windows and other publications.
