Vintage polaroid photograph snapped backstage at the Locust St. Theater in Philadelphia in 1959. Paul Newman is shown with his arm around our consignor, in his dressing room as he prepared for his role in Sweet Bird of Youth. Our consignor notes " I can still remember my Mom taking this with her new Polaroid camera and I also can remember how nice Paul Newman was to a shy little girl." Photo is faded a bit, tape residue on the side, and a very slight crease just above his head. Inscribed on the verso in pencil, "To Susie, best wishes, Paul Newman". 4 1/8" x 3 1/4".
