Original photograph of the great Italian theatre director, sitting in a chair which has been retouched to read "Visconti" in bright white letters.  A halo of retouching surrounds Visconti in a white aura, separating him from the background, clearly intended/used for publication. The retouchings are within the negative already and the photograph has been mounted to a linen backing.  In fine condition.  8 x 10 inches (20.3 x 25.4 cm.).
