Berlin, September 23, [18]91. Translated from the German: "The work that you have planned will certainly be of use as a reference work among experts. Whether it would find friends outside these circles, I tend to doubt. It depends very much on the presentation of the plan. The task is great and certainly not easy. To tell a drama is in my opinion just as hard as to describe a painting." 2 pp. of a bifolium. Toning, folding creases and edge wear, but overall fine. 7 x 8.5 inches (17.5 x 21.7 cm).
