From the first convention of the Progressive Party, held in 1912 in Chicago, containing 35 patriotic and inspirational songs. Cover with inset oval portraits of Teddy Roosevelt and Hiram Johnson over bandanna graphics. text below portraits reading “We Stand At Armageddon And We Battle For The Lord,” the lower margin with a 4-line verse by Kipling, the rear cover with an illustration of Bull Moose head on bandanna graphics and with quotations from Roosevelt and Johnson. The two binding staples have perished, leaving small areas of staining in the gutter, otherwise condition is very good.
