Striking 11 x 14 inch inch doubleweight Adrian Siegel of Philadelphia photograph of the conductor who led the Philadelphia Orchestra for 40 years. Signed and inscribed in 1959 "To Allen Sommers, our superb publicity director, with my best wishes, Eugene Ormandy. Philadelphia. 1959." Two small nicks along the upper edge, else fine condition and stamped on the verso by the photographer. A remarkable association and pretty much the nicest Ormandy SP we've ever had.
