Set of two scores for the German pianist and composer's little-known work for piano four hands. The piece is a set of variations on "Ah, vous dirai-je, maman" (Twinkle, twinkle, little star.) Each 16 pp. As noted on the cover, two copies are required to play the work on two pianos! Pages loose, as issued. [PN] J. O. 8429. Overall toning and some corner and edge chipping, otherwise in very good condition. 9.5 x 12.5 inches (24 x 32 cm).

The German pianist Walter Gieseking is best remembered as a specialist in Debussy, having recorded virtually all the composer's solo works, as well as the complete solo piano works of Mozart and Ravel. He also left a small body of chamber compositions.
