Sargent has signed boldly in pencil below his image. Dated January 22 [1949] on the verso, and with the program order of the concert, which included the premiere of Gordon Jacob's Music for a Prince as well as works by Howells, Tippett, Elgar, Ireland, Grieg, and Verdi. Light toning and right edge rough; overall in very good condition. 5.25 x 8.25 inches (13.5 x 20.8 cm).
