Single-sheet concert program from a December 5, 1891 performance of the great Spanish violinist at The Dome in Brighton, England. The concert marked the centenary of Mozart's death, with the program including his Symphony no. 40 and Eine Klaine [sic] Nacht Musik. Sarasate performed the first movement of Beethoven's Violin Concerto op. 61, as well as a suite by Raff and his own Fantasia on Carmen. Laid down on an album leaf, with a further 1891 program laid down on the verso, from an interesting concert which included performances by Liza Lehmann, Wilma Neruda, Bernhard Stavenhagen and others. Toning, folding creases, and soiling; overall good. 6 x 9 inches (15.7 x 22.7 cm).
