Ravel, Maurice. (1875-1937). "Sonata for Violin and Cello" - Autograph Musical Quotation.
A neatly penned AMQS from the important French composer, who has written 3 bars from his Sonate pour violon et violoncelle, notated on a hand-drawn stave. Addressed to a Sigrid and dated London 3/7/1922. 1 page, aprox.. 12 x 17 cm. Simply framed and unexamined out of frame but in apparently fine condition. 

Composed between 1920 and 1922, the Sonata for Violin and Cello is dedicated to Claude Debussy and was premiered just 3 months prior to the present inscription on 6 April 1922 with Hélène Jourdan-Morhange playing the violin and Maurice Maréchal the cello.
