Daniel Blum's chronicle of American Theatre, Great Stars of the American Stage, with a total of 39 signatures from actors and actresses included therein, signed on their respective photographs by such stars as Tallulah Bankhead, Marlon Brando, Billie Burke, Dorothy Gish, Lillian Gish, Bert Lahr, Vivien Leigh (who signs twice, including on her childhood photo), Ethel Merman, Laurence Olivier, Ethel Waters and dozens more. A full listing of signed images is included below. 

This volume was painstakingly assembled by Paul McMahon, who carried the book with him to performances and signing opportunities in New York, Boston and LA for many years. A truly remarkable collection of signed photographs in a book which provides a great overview of Hollywood's golden era with biographical information and numerous photographs in each of the 150 entries.  

Hardcover. 4to. Unpaginated. Black cloth boards heavily frayed with losses along the lower edges. General toning throughout, else fine. The volume is signed by:
