Signed postcard photograph of Bill Haley and Frank Pingatore, composers of the 1955 Bill Haley & His Comets single "Two Hound Dogs," posing with two dogs in front of a crowd outside of a concert venue advertising a Haley show.  Signed to verso by Haley and Pingatore, along with an inscription in an unknown hand, possibly that of Pingatore, reading "Rhythm + Blues / Thank you."  Very fine.  3.5 x 7.6 inches (8.9 x 19 cm.).

From the collection of Paul McMahon, a critic, photographer and artist who worked for more than 13 years touring with Marlene Dietrich as the icon’s stage manager, announcer, dresser, secretary and escort, and later spent 25 years as an arts and entertainment reviewer and photographer with Gay Community News, Esplanade, Tommy’s Connection, The Mirror, Bay Windows and other publications.
