Impressive and heavy glass award plaque, presented by American singer Rosemary Clooney (1928 - 2002) to Jerome Kern's daughter, Betty Kern Miller and acquired by descent through her estate. The glass is engraved with a profile bust portrait and an American flag with a single musical note in place of the starts and with the text: "Singer's Salute to the Songwriter / An American Legend / Jerome Kern / 20th Century Composer - His Music Will Live Forever" and presented by "The Betty Clooney Foundation for Persons with Brain Injury" on April 25, 1989. 10 x 13 inches, in fine condition, and sold together with 6 snapshot photographs of Clooney presenting the award to Betty Kern in her living room.
