Collection of 38 vintage original unsigned photographs and one postcard photograph of the two-time Golden Globe winning American actress, including promotional photographs for the films Pal Joey with Frank Sinatra, Vertigo with Jimmy Stewart, and Just a Gigolo with David Bowie, together with photographs and stills from Jeanne Eagels, Picnic, The Mirror Crack'd, Liebestraum, and the made-for-television films Of Human Bondage and Boys Night Out.  Generally original period prints, overall in fine condition.  Postcard 4 x 5.75 inches (10.2 x 14.6 cm.), else 8 x 10 inches (20.3 x 25.4 cm.).

From the collection of Paul McMahon, a critic, photographer and artist who worked for more than 13 years touring with Marlene Dietrich as the icon’s stage manager, announcer, dresser, secretary and escort, and later spent 25 years as an arts and entertainment reviewer and photographer with Gay Community News, Esplanade, Tommy’s Connection, The Mirror, Bay Windows and other publications.
