Chaminade herself played several solo works and joined with singers Alice Mandeville and Leon Rennay for the other works. Boldly signed and dated in pencil and sold together with a vintage postcard photograph. 17 x 23 cm. Irregularly trimmed along edges, verso with mounting traces along upper edge, central crease a bit foxed and partially separated at sides.
Chaminade toured extensively during this period and was a frequent guest of Queen Victoria. Later, she was the first female composer to be admitted to the Legion d'Honneur in 1913.
