A striking and colorful original early 19th century lenticular print depicting Jesus on the cross, mounted below vertical wooden bands each carrying portions of additional views so that when seen from the left side, one sees an image of Mary and from the right, an image of Christ. Entirely colored by hand, with some writing in ink to the bottom of the central panel. German, Ca. 1830. Contained in its original wooden frame under bubble glass, recently restored and professionally cleaned. 33 x 44 cm. Fine. Sammlung W.
