Dental models of the famous author, James Michener, as marked on each model and on the original Maryland Dental Laboratories, Inc. box they have been kept in. A pair of what are called quadrant models, partial models and not the entire arch, likely taken with a check bite impression tray. By these models we can tell that he was missing a number of posterior teeth on the upper right and that he had a partial denture on his lower right. We can see signs that he also had a partial denture on the upper right that was not in place when the impression was taken.
