[Literature & Art] Wodehouse, P. G. (1881 - 1975). Signed Leter to Maureen O'Sullivan. Typed letter, signed "Plum." One page, personal letterhead, October 22, 1961. To the actress Maureen O'Sullivan, to whom Wodehouse dedicated his book "Hot Water." Thanking her for a birthday telegram, referencing a phone call from O'Sullivan's husband, John Farrow, congratulating her on "the hit you have made in your play," lamenting that they are "so far away from each other" and unable to visit, in part because "we are so tied up with animals which we can't leave. We now have a daschund, a Boxer and two cats and nobody to leave them with." Glued to an album page, otherwise in fine condition.

An interesting letter from the English humorist whose work included novels, short stories, plays, poems, song lyrics, and numerous pieces of journalism
