Attractive signed postcard photograph of the great Italian soprano, verismo legend of the Golden Age and creator of both Santuzza in Mascagni's "Cavalleria Rusticana" and of the title role in Giordano's "Fedora." She was also the first Italian Salome. In very fine condition, signed lower left "Gemma Bellincioni / Roma/ 1929" and, referencing the heavenly "Sempre Libera" aria of La Traviata, adding upper right "arte e ancora un croce e delizia!" ["art is still a torment and delight"]. 8.5 x 13.5 cm, very fine.
