A rare original photograph of three great figures of twentieth-century opera and classical music, in the recording studio ca. 1959, for their famous recording of Rosenkavalier on EMI. EMI producer, and Schwarzkopf's husband, Walter Legge, is seen in the center of the group, as is Heinrich Schmidt - who served as Repetiteur for the recording - to the right of Karajan. 6.5 x 8.5 inches, stamped on the verso by the photographer Maiteny-London.
