Each card features a print of an oval pencil portrait by Honor Earl and the set was issued in a limited signed edition of of 200 (this copy 6/200) to benefit the Musicians Benevolent Fund in its 70th Anniversary year of 1991. The signers include Janet Baker, Evelyn Barbirolli, Harry Blech, Colin Carr, Levon Chilingrian, Peter Frankl, Evelyn Glennie, Sidonie Goosens, Heather Harper, Antony Hopins, Steven Isserlis, Charles Mackerras, Jane Mannin, Yvonne Minton, Robert Lloyd, Felicity Lott, Neville Marriner, Martin Neary, Andrzej Panufnik, Gyorgy Pauk, Melvyn Tan, and Jeffrey Tate.
