Striking original 1937 press photograph of men in uniform in a parade, holding large letters to spell out "New York."  Press caption on the back reads, "The front row of the New York Delegation was unmistakeable with these large letters."  Stamped with the date September 25, 1937.  Excellent image quality with bends, dings, impressions caused by snipe on verso and fine crazing throughout. Small corner bends/creases. Approx. 7 x 9 inches.
