Original postcard photograph by Jacob B. Marx of the eminent Romanian-born violinist and composer together with an unidentified cellist, addressed on the verso to violinist Herman Wasserman at the Cincinnati Symphony ("Second Fiddles") and postmarked March 31, 1940.  This is not a published image, and has evidently been prepared by the photographer himself who has neatly drawn a border on the image side, as well as the section markers and note on the verso. Most unusual.
