Contemporary mottled calf, name of owner, "Durant De La Roque," impressed on front board (a famous bibliophile, La Roque was Captain of the Regiment of Bourgogne). Spine somewhat chipped, overall in very fine condition.

(Grove Online) In addition to some of his own original works, these include arrangements for two instruments, without bass line, of opera arias or harpsichord pieces by several different composers, including Rameau and Handel, whose music was rarely heard in France at the time.
