Executed on the verso of the lunch menu of 4 May, 1913 from the lavish trans-Atlantic ship "Kaiser Wilhelm II." Signed lower right "Enrico Caruso / K.W. II / May 1913." In fine condition, measuring 17.5 x 27.5 cm [6.75 x 10.75 inches]. From the collection of composer and pianist Constantin von Sternberg (1852 - 1924), who was George Antheil's teacher and who was apparently also a guest on board the ship.
