A highly amusing novelty item, ca. 1900, original pair of costume "Fairies' Wings," "invented and m'f'd by J. & P. B. Myers, Inc., New York." The wings are constructed of wire, tissue paper and large flakes of glitter. Sold together with a vintage postcard photograph showing a young girl wearing a similar pair of wings. In very good condition. Total wingspan approx. 36 inches.    J. & P. B. Myers were printers and stationers based in New York City.
