A very fine pair of autograph books containing signatures of many opera singers and conductors from the early 1960's. There are altogether 52 signatures, including composer Benjamin Britten and conductors Carl Maria Giulini, Gabriele Santini, Tullio Serafin, and Malcolm Sargent. Singers who have signed include: Teresa Berganza, Ivo Vinco, Luigi Alva, Victoria De Los Angeles, Joan Sutherland, Boris Christoff, Rolando Panerai, Anna Pollak, Russell Oberlin, Elsie Morrison (Mrs. Raphael Kubelik), Cesare Siepi, John Laing, Giuseppe Taddei, David Ward, Roberta Peters, Regine Resnik, Kenneth Macdonald, Forbes Robinson, Edith Lang, Richard Lewis, Catherine Gayer etc.

Most pages are signed on only one side, most are undedicated, but are dated and frequently include a role or opera title in the hand of the artist. Albums are in very fine condition and measure 8 X 10.5 cm.
